Port Lavaca City Manager Jody Weaver has a dream.

 

“Hello friends and family and all who, like me, love Port Lavaca and the laughter of children! July is my birthday month and this year it’s a big one!! To celebrate 65 trips around the sun, will you help me with my dream? I hope you’ve seen the progress being made on the United Way Born Learning Trail in City Park (corner of Tilley St & Half League Rd) City of Port Lavaca and all the wonderful ART work.  Well, I want to see Theatre Arts and Music added to the trail! Will YOU please help me raise funds to construct a child size theatrical stage and a small outdoor music park to the trail? I’ve included some photos of examples. If you would like to help me inspire young children with the magic and wonder of theatre and music, It’s easy!!
